Disaster Recovery Purchasing and Cooperative Purchasing for State & Local Governments

TEEX is a participating vendor in the Disaster Recovery and the Cooperative Purchasing programs, and is identified with these icons in the GSA eLibrary.

Under the Disaster Recovery Program, state and local governments are authorized to use certain Federal Supply Schedules of the GSA for purchase of products and services to prepare for, or recover from a major disaster declared by the President, or to prepare for, or recover from terrorism or chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive (CBRNE) attack. The purchases are authorized under Section 833 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act (Public Law 109-364).

Under the Cooperative Purchasing Program, state and local government entities may purchase products and services from contracts awarded under GSA Federal Supply Schedule 84 titled "Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facility Management Systems, Fire, Rescue, Special Purpose Clothing, Marine Craft, and Emergency/Disaster Response.
